This Friday, June 11th, at our monthly meeting, the Radio Amateurs of Skagit County, are sponsoring John Hays of Edmonds, Washington, with a discussion regarding D-Star radio. D-Star is a recent development using digital means over the ham radio frequencies. Mr Hays, K7VE, will present an overview of the D-Star system and display and explain the equipment necessary to get into this new realm of amateur radio. The meeting starts at 7:00 pm and is held at the Skagit County Hospital, 1415 East Kincaid, in the Cascade room. Enter through the west side door.
