Holiday wishes
Greetings fellow hams,
Just wanted to wish all of you a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous (in all ways) New Year! I'm looking forward to seeing all of you at the RASC club meetings in 2012 and the various events we operate at. I'll be one of the members in the back row on Jan. 13th...:) It's been a pleasure serving as one of your club officers for the last 3+ years. I know you'll be supportive of the new officers as they assume their duties in January because you're the BEST!!

RASC Christmas Party...
Hi all,
Just wanted to remind everyone that we DON'T have a club meeting in the month of December. Instead, we have our annual club members Christmas party on Friday, Dec. 9th. If you haven't signed up to attend yet, there's still time. The reservation and payment deadline has been extended to Wednesday Dec. 7th by event organizer, Catherine, KF7AFK. I'll be checking the mail box daily between now and then. Sign up and enjoy a great dinner, entertainment and our very own Santa Claus!

Website will be down Wed. 8/31
I'm told my webmaster Mike, KG7HQ that: "The rasconline website will be offline on Wednesday August 31st for a system upgrade. We will be enjoying a different server and upgraded raid array."
Just a heads up if you can't get on... Sorry that I didn't get this posted sooner gang.
Christmas party fever...
Hi everyone,Just wanted to throw out a reminder that you still have time to sign up to come to the annual club Christmas party. Cost is $20.00/person, $40.00 for you and your spouse or date. The dinner will be held at Max Dale's in Mount Vernon on Saturday, December 4th. If you want to come you need to get your money in to the club ( P.O. Box 814) so that we get it by the 30th of Nov. We have to turn in the final count to the restaurant by Dec. 1st....
Are you a courteous operator?
Hi fellow hams,I wrote a short opinion piece for the club newsletter about operating courteously. It's up to us older (or should I say more experienced) operators to provide the good example the new hams should follow. I'd love to hear what other operating no-nos you've heard on the air and what we can do about them to keep our reputation as good operators flying high.Anita
Did you come and visit?
Hi fellow hams,
Hopefully you took my suggestion and came to check out the new web site. After you look around, be sure to make a comment about the "new look". Mike, KG7HQ has done a great job! Don't forget that we have a special speaker this Friday at the club meeting. Tell your friends!
